prior to sabah and after that, i spent a lot of time in auntie number 5 hse playing ps with my roger, her first born.. dynasty warriors.. damm i’m hooked…

last thursday i went to sleep over at philips place back in kepong. we dota-ed a few hours, talk about our plans for the next day’s mountain climb.. we were going after melati hill.. a rocky hill that stretch to almost 8 peaks near UTAR. there were 6 of us that wanted to go. me and philip, yap , chia ming, yap’s bro and stephan.. after the game we were talking about how stephan is gonna FFk us.. (which he did in the end) in front of him.. we said again and again… dun tell us last minute cannot go… the fella can qualify to be a pilot… just by the experience by the number of times he FFk already..

yap’s bro had to wrok so we adviced him not to go..

everybody else was on time… i didnt sleep neither did yap.. so we were on time.. haha..
the climb was tiring… really tiring.. we had to go up and up and up…. and there were no clear road… just a well trodden path…u could feel the mist in your nostrils collecting up into droplets right at your nostrils.. irritating..

there were 2 uncles behind us… when we took a small break, they cut us.. and when they took their break we cut them.. but by the 2nd time they cut us, we couldnt see them any longer, the view from the top was amazing! on our left was KL, on our right we could see genting, a dam between us and genting created a river and a lake, we were higher than the trees, all we could see were tree tops at a meter from where we were standing.. a meter each side is a drop of about a 120 meters… thats really high…. after 7 hills, after pictures, videos and looking for ways to move around the rocks, we finally saw the 2 uncles who wanted to go thru the course again.. in the opposite direction.. the amazing thing is…. they cut out half a watermelon for us to eat haha!!!.. really respect those 2 uncles cuz they brough up a watermelon.. the climb down after that was the worst part.. we keep on using our brakes so that we dun fall.. all in all it took us 3 and a half hours to finish.

after that we rewarde ourselves by goin for bak kut teh! 4 of us ate portions for 5.. it was great.. it felt great.. it was an expereince that i would want to relive again soon

PRODUCTIVE hols.

my blog is growing cobwebs..

its been a long time since i blogged… (duh)..

we had three weeks of holidays.. and i didnt go to work (thats y it was productive).. instead i took a journey to sabah.. land of the orangutans, rafflesia and weird malay accents. i went to c Joyce.. (i was the errand boy who sent b’day presents) who seemed really sad and lonely and lost… it seems that just trying to survive over there can take up all your mental and physical faculties. She said the only places she go to is town..

“which part of town?”

“Starbucks”

“ooo how far is it from campus?”

“i dunno… u just take a bus and u reach starbucks”

“been to anywhere else?”

“no..just starbucks”

and den we said our good byes after a little while.. my aunt was waiting for me outside (aunt number 3)
not to confuse u with the names and such… i will call my aunts by number based on age.. my mum is number 1. aunt number 3 had previously asked a friend to pick us up from the airport, it took a long time to get my bags.. couldnt sleep at all during the flight.. argued with my sister on who gets to sit next to the window..

nowadays aunt number 3 is a VIP in Sabah, a pastor for 20 yrs, everybody that sees her must shake her hand. Even when she is in her car.(which is a truck by the way) a very bz lady who has no choice but to entertain her lovely niece and nephew(she’s my god ma)..we went around KK… just driving around.. we picked up jenson which is aunt number 8’s 3rd child.. really cute fella with a weird attitude and preferences.. and he is only 4… that night, we met up with arthur, (aunt number 2 firstborn) and aunt 8’s family. i really liked the second girl, lianne.. cute fella, thats nice to kacau.. (only 7 and no i’m not a peadophile).. megan(first born) is really tal.. she’s only 10 and almost taller that CC.. 0_0

that nite, aunt number 8 (one of my fav) brought us out to eat, she was more excited about it than we were, cuz she can finally have fun with no kids around.. lol she made us play cards with her also.. she was really happy about it.. funny aunt..
we met ah choong qiu2 also.. and Ku Po.. grandad’s sis.
the next day we set off for kudat.. our main destination for this trip to meet up with po2 and gong 2

i was a bit wary of my grandma cuz her mind, ears, mouth and eyes were still functioning perfectly…nothing gets past her.. scary old lady… my grandparents look so sweet together, my grandma injusred her knee, so my grandad helped out with the cooking, while my grandma sits and surpervises.. it was fun watching them (i helped out of course…)

aunt number 2 and uncle number 6’s wife brought us around to explore sabah, we went to the tip of borneo which is nothing really, just the northenmost part of borneo, but the view there was nice and the way some of the sand and rock formations were intriguing.. we went up the KK national park, hot springs, ate rice dumplings, drove in the mist, picked vegetables by the road for po2 .. food was a major part of our days in sabah, fish, chicken, pork, prawns, crabs, shelled aquatic fauna, and all kinds of vege.. every day was a feast… really. not one day did the food really finished…i grew fatter… and went to the toilet more often…

there were many other things that happened.. but is too much to write down… i’ll tell u more if u ask… like the english couple who came and stayed over, or the beach fun.. or the drama we watched with arthur… or the church that was speaking malay. All that at sabah.. i cried when we had to go… i miss them.. and that was the first half of my hols
